A bed inspired by Japanese simplicity.

The client asked me to make custom sized bed to their newely purchased homoe. They have a taste, thus, my suggestion to look east, towards Japan was well received. We decided, though, to add a headboard(west meets east...).

Because their home isn't yet insulated, the walls in the winter can get pretty cold and the headboard creates barrier. I decided to create this beautifull pattern to add a little bit dinamism to the overall design.

The frame is joined with the classic mortise and tennon joints so the bed will last their son's childhood.
